Position Overview

Through the critical early phase of the customer lifecycle, the Solutions Management team plays a pivotal role in designing and driving adoption of solutions that help our customers achieve their business goals. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you provide deep technical, data, and product expertise to support the team’s efforts including supporting technical validation, Repsly site setup and configuration, and ownership of Repsly customer data management best practices (gathering, checking, cleaning, loading, and maintaining).

  • Quality of the solution is measured through demo and pilot conversion rates, implementation time to value, solution user adoption, and through customer satisfaction feedback.

  • Successful contribution to the continuous improvement of our Professional Services programs, process, and capabilities as measured by successful outcomes in continuous improvement projects identified during goal setting sessions.

Responsibilities

Working closely with Solution Management teammates, you are part of a team that partners with AEs and CSMs to engage with prospects and customers to:

  • Build custom demonstration sites: research prospects for context, load data and configure system environments to mirror near real-world conditions relevant so the AE can give a more impactful in-context demonstration.
  • Set, maintain, and enforce data hygiene standards of general purpose demonstrate sites in use by all AEs.
  • Given prospect and customer business goals and requirements, assist the Solutions Management team in solution ideation and technical feasibility assessments.
  • Perform site setup and configuration for new customers including data gathering, checking, cleaning, and loading. Develop a suite of tools and scripts to streamline this process over time.
  • Perform customer site administration enablement sessions.
  • For select customers, assist in site data management activities.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, customer success, finance, and product development, to ensure a cohesive client experience. Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to help improve product and service offerings.
  • And other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed.

Requirements and Experience

Job/Task Related Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related job experience.
  • 3+ years of technical professional work experience.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation tools, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with manipulating large volumes of data, e.g.: enforcing unique identifiers, joining data sets, aggregations and fuzzy-matching techniques.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data processing tasks.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation. Excellent at asking questions & actively listening. Always friendly, clear, & concise.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A sincere care for the success of our customers and teammates.

Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS, Professional Services, and/ or Consumer Goods.
  • Experience in development technologies including RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in spreadsheet scripting (e.g. Google Apps Script, or ExcelScript).
  • Documentation experience: user guides and technical specifications.
  • Passion for the use of technology & data to drive innovation.
  • Ambition to grow professionally as part of a collaborative and committed team.
