About Repsly
The retail landscape is undergoing its most significant transformation in decades, shifting from purely transactional spaces to experiential ones. Major retailers will invest over $20B this decade alone to redesign and reimagine the in-store experience.
In this era, the physical store is morphing into a "phygital" hub where brands must deliver immersive, personalized moments to capture fragmented consumer attention. When experience is the product, an out-of-stock item, misplaced promotion, or messy display isn't just a lost sale - it's a broken brand promise.
Enter Repsly: an AI-powered vertical SaaS platform delivering world-class retail execution software to top global consumer brands, including Kraft Heinz, Dyson, Verizon, Mattel, and Revlon. For over 15 years, we have empowered brand field teams, service providers, and major retailers to know what’s happening in stores (system of record) and what action to take (system of insight). Over 600 customers rely on our tech to ensure the right product is in the right place, at the right time and price.
Today, we're a company in motion, following a CEO transition, rapid AI integration across product and operations, and an "Idemo" (let's go) culture. Demand, Brand, and Growth marketing have been underinvested - offering a unique opportunity not just to run a growth engine, but to build it.
Who we're looking for
We aren't looking for someone to manage a department; we want a co-owner of the business who sits in marketing.
You take extreme ownership, full stop. When pipeline is soft, your first instinct is to ask what you or your team missed - not to point at sales, product, or market headwinds. You don't wait for a clean handoff or fully-scoped brief before moving—you're comfortable working in the grey. If something in the growth engine is broken, you claim it and run with it. You're comfortable being attached to a number and don't need air cover.
You run at problems, not around them. If a campaign underperforms, a product launch is behind, or a peer's function blocks yours, you address it directly in the first conversation - not in a passive-aggressive Slack message or status doc. You'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation on Tuesday than a surprised one during quarterly reviews. Ambiguity is just something to resolve, not escalate.
You're a true peer and partner, full stop. You'll work alongside sales, product, and CS leaders who are also building their functions. You engage them as equals with shared stakes, not internal customers to manage. You give and take direct feedback without taking it personally, and you change your mind in public when presented with a better argument to make smarter, faster decisions together.
You think and operate like an owner of the P&L, not a spender of a budget. You defend every dollar in market terms, knowing why you spend it and the metrics it moves. You default to testing and measuring spend before scaling, and you kill initiatives that aren't working. If something hurts investment performance, you run at it to protect the company's long-term success.
You're a builder of systems, not just campaigns. You've done IC work and still can, but we need someone to turn growth marketing into a repeatable, coachable function that operates reliably whether or not you're in the room. You also bring 6–12 months of experience using AI agents to remove manual work, elevating the team to focus on higher-value work.
You hold the line on accountability, for yourself and your team. Under our operating model, quarterly commitments are real and tracked on a shared scorecard. You'll set your own targets, hit them or communicate early why you won't, and hold your team to the same standard. You'll be measured on pipeline and closed-won revenue, and you thrive in that environment.
What working with us looks like
Our operating rhythm is direct: quarterly rocks, clear metrics, and weekly unblock-and-escalate check-ins to help you move fast. Every seat has one clear owner. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll partner with leadership to shape how marketing aligns with Sales and CS as we build out the function.
This isn't the right fit if...
- You expect a fully-built team, established brand playbook, and mature budget on day one.
- You hesitate to roll up your sleeves and execute day-to-day.
- You prefer escalating cross-functional conflict over resolving it directly. Reporting to the CEO requires resolving conflict independently and making confident decisions.
- You explain context before outlining what you and the team will do differently after a missed target.
- You view Sales, Product, and CS as stakeholders to manage rather than core growth partners.
- You require rigid structure and clean inputs before taking action.

- Brought hands-on experience with enterprise or complex-sale B2B motions.

- Met 1:1 with sales, product, CS, and RevOps leadership to understand cross-functional friction.
- Established the team's operating rhythm (rocks, weekly check-ins, scorecards) with Q1 2027 commitments set.
- Running a live pilot for an AI-enabled marketing workflow.
- Shipped or reworked a campaign brief or live ABM program end-to-end.
- Made and justified a key decision (hire, reassign, or stop doing) regarding team, tooling, or spend.
Metrics of Success — First 180 Days
- >$1–1.5M qualified pipeline generated with clear source/channel tracking.
- Assessed team skills against 12-month goals and created a plan to address gaps.
- Launched a new ABM program targeting priority accounts with RevOps and Sales.
- Partnered with Sales on a messaging/positioning POV and rollout plan.
- Scaled 2–3 AI initiatives from pilot to standard practice with quantified impact.
