Job Description

As a QA Engineer you will be embedded in a cross-functional product team of seniors, owning quality from the moment a feature is scoped to the moment it ships - reviewing acceptance criteria early, writing thorough test cases, running exploratory sessions, catching edge cases, and validating business logic across all supported platforms.

We foster a strong culture of quality across all levels of testing, where every team member - backend, frontend, iOS, and Android developers, along with QA automation engineers - contributes to delivering high-quality software. This is a role for someone who thinks critically, understands the product deeply, and treats quality as a shared team responsibility.

Our testing environment

You'll be testing across multiple platforms - a web application built as an Angular SPA, native iOS and Android mobile apps, and a scalable backend built on event-driven microservices - all kept up to date with the latest technologies, including AI-powered features being actively developed and shipped.

We maintain high test coverage spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, with manual and exploratory testing playing a critical role alongside our automated suites. You'll collaborate closely with developers and automation engineers to keep both in sync - identifying automation candidates, maintaining test scenarios, and ensuring shared understanding of how features work.

For test management we rely on Jira and Xray, giving us structured, traceable coverage across all features and teams.

Work on a globally used, enterprise-grade SaaS product and face real-world agile delivery challenges
Actively contribute to shaping testing strategy and improving overall product quality
Collaborate with experienced engineers, product managers, and QA specialists
Own feature validation end-to-end, from requirements through to release
Run exploratory testing and be a consistent advocate for the end-user experience

Required skills

3+ years of experience in software testing of web and mobile applications
Proven experience in writing, maintaining, and executing structured test cases and test plans
Strong understanding of testing methodologies (black-box, regression, smoke, exploratory testing)
Experience with data validation and verifying data integrity across systems
Hands-on experience with browser developer tools and debugging techniques
Experience with Jira, Xray, or similar tools for defect tracking and test management
Basic understanding of test automation concepts and ability to run and interpret automated test suites
Experience working in Agile environments with iterative delivery cycles
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Proactive communicator with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred skills

Experience working in CI/CD-driven environments
Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar
Experience with performance/security testing
Experience using AI tools (including prompt engineering) to support testing activities
Experience testing AI-driven or ML-based products
Automation experience is a bonus
