About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic and creative Product & Customer Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll serve as a critical bridge between our product, customer success, and marketing organizations - supporting business and revenue goals and our go-to-market strategy.
You’ll help customers understand the value of what we build while supporting our sales and success teams with the tools and content they need. Your work will include developing customer stories and case studies, creating product-focused campaigns, and ensuring our solutions are clearly understood and appreciated.
A key part of the role will be driving sales enablement for new product initiatives, shaping positioning and messaging, and supporting go-to-market initiatives that align across the business. This is a role for someone who enjoys blending strategy, creativity, and collaboration to drive impact.
Responsibilities
We believe in empowering our team members. As our Product and Customer Marketing Manager, you will help us meet our net retention goals and be relentlessly focused on engaging, retaining, and expanding our customer base by:
- Co-design and execute a comprehensive customer and product marketing roadmap with marketing leadership that aligns with overall marketing and product strategy and supports business objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis, define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and personas, ensuring messaging and campaigns are targeted and relevant.
- Gather customer insights and feedback in collaboration with the product marketing team, ensuring VOCs are integrated into product messaging and positioning.
- Drive sales enablement for new product launches by creating tools, content, and messaging that help sales and customer teams communicate value effectively.
- Support expansion by developing strong customer targeting lists and campaign strategies, working closely with CSMs, marketing, and product on upsell campaigns.
- Build and manage a robust customer reference database, identifying key customers whose stories will resonate most with target audiences (case studies, testimonials, communities).
- Support tactics and campaigns around customer journey and onboarding to ensure customer success and Aha! moments.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will bring marketing expertise, technical know-how, and a customer-focused mindset.
- 2-3 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 1 year specifically focused on product/customer marketing or similar roles in the SaaS industry.
- Strong experience building/managing processes with project management and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Appcues, Navattic, or similar).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product and customer marketing programs that drive engagement and strong business results.
- Strong writing skills with experience creating compelling customer narratives.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Confidence selling the value of our products internally and externally.
